Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Yale Bertie Holland, 80, passed away August 22, 1992 in Sandy, Utah of a heart attack.
Born June 1, 1912 in Goshen, Idaho to Joseph Bert and Nellie Shaw Holland.
Married Ruth Waldram on June 14, 1937 in Salt Lake LDS Temple.Graduate of the University of Idaho with honors in Agricultural Science. Taught Future Farmers and Ag in schools in Preston and Sugar City, Idaho until joining Amalgamated Sugar Company in 1942 in Burley, Idaho. Founder of Feed Service Company in Caldwell, Idaho. Successful farmland developer in southwestern Idaho for many years.
Active in many church and civic leadership duties in Idaho and Sandy, he served as Scoutmaster, Sunday School superintendent, Bishopric and High Council, and served a mission to St. George Visitor Center with wife in 1981.
Survived by wife, Sandy; son, Jack, Denver, Colo.; daughter, Susan Taylor, Salt Lake; daughter, Kinne McCracken, Rocklin, Calif.; son, Steven, Highland, Utah; daughter, Margere Weiss, Denver, Colo.; sister, Karma Messick, Shelly, Idaho; brother, Gene Holland, Shelly, Idaho; sister, Barbara Dredge, Idaho Falls, Idaho; 16 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, four brothers and one sister and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 1992, 11:00 a.m., at the Willow Creek 5th Ward, 2115 Sublette Place (8420 So.) Sandy, Ut. Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East 7600 South, Monday, August 24, 1992, form 6-8 p.m. and 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. the day of the service at the church.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
