Boyd Holbrook, manager of the RC Willey store in Syracuse, has been elected as the new president for the Layton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Kimm Barney, manager of U.S. Title Company, is the new vice president, and Mountain Fuel's Sid Young is treasurer.Linda Kelly, Layton Hills Mall director and former chamber president; Steve Rush, manager of Utah Power's Layton office; Bud Willey, owner of Fort Lane Shopping Center; Kent Boam of FHP; and Spencer Young of Young Chevrolet were all elected to the chamber's board of directors.
In addition, the chamber has announced its annual business/
citizen awards. Hal V. Marsell, optometrist at Layton Visual Center, received the "Total Citizen Award." Don Deru was honored as "Citizen of the Year" and the Ed Kenley truck corral was named the most beautiful new area business.
