Buster Keaton's "The General," Cecil B. DeMille's "Union Pacific" and other railroad movies and cartoon shorts will be screened, and there will be live demonstrations of steam locomotives, as the sixth annual Railroader's Film Festival and Winter Steam Demonstration gets under way at the Golden Spike National Historic Site on Sunday, Dec. 26.

The three-day festival, continuing through Tuesday, Dec. 28, will feature steam locomotive "119," which will arrive at the "Last Spike Site" each day at 10 a.m. The train will then be on display until 4 p.m., with steam demonstrations upon arrival, departure and at 1:30 p.m.The films and several short cartoons begin at 9 a.m. and run all day. Admission is free.
