High life in the upscale ski resort of Aspen, Colo., will have an added diversion come next Wednesday when Vinnie Pazienza, former lightweight champion, will take on Canadian Dan Sherry for his WBO middle-weight title. Ticket buyers have been asked to wear black tie (what else?) and ringside seats are going for $1,500. In fact, the cheapest of the 650 seats at the Ritz-Carlton (what else?) is $1,000. The event, the first of its sort since pugilists duked it out for the entertainment of Aspen's gold miners at the turn of the century, will benefit the Aspen Youth center.
