I want to express my thanks to the group who have decided that people in Utah, especially those in Salt Lake City, need to be saved from the terrible pollution that would come to our eyes and mind by threatening to file suit against Salt Lake City to remove the terrible memorial in one of the city's properties.
Who knows what terrible thought might cross the minds of the citizens who might see this monument of the Jewish faith.I am glad to know that we can use the name of God and Christ in our language to pronounce a curse on our fellow men. I am glad to see that we can spray it in walls, etc., without fear of reprisal from this group. I am glad to see that this distrust of religious symbols is carried over to television and movies.
But I do wonder how allowing this display is support of religion by government. I wish that someone would explain it to me.
It is too darn bad that we might be faced with symbols that tend to enhance the higher feeling of mankind. No wonder America is on the road we travel. Heaven forbid that we might teach and learn of higher values. It might lead to the breakdown of crime in the cities. That we could never stand.
