Bessie Clawson Lundstrom died December 21, 1993 at age 101 in Hillhaven Health Center of causes incident to age.

She was born August 12, 1892 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Jens Christian Nicolai Clawson and Pauline Elvina Marie Bilgrav.She married Emil Leonard Lundstrom in Salt Lake City, Utah August 30, 1911. He died May 1970 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1923. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She lived in Bremerton, Washington, Santa Monica, Long Beach, and San Diego, California from 1917 to 1965 when she returned to Salt Lake City.

She is survived by three sons and their wives: Harold C. (Catherine R.), Salt Lake City; Joseph L. (Beverly L.), Farmington, Utah; Richard E. (Marilyn T.), Holladay; 18 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther C. (Joe) Hellewell, Holladay; and many nephews and nieces.

Graveside services (per her request), were held December 24 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery conducted by Russon Brothers Mortuary.

The family extends appreciation to the staff of Hillhaven for a decade of conscientious care.
