Clyde Wilson Davis, 77, died peacefully in his sleep December 23, 1993.
His interests in life were family, LDS Church and friendshipping people worldwide.Born May 18, 1916 in Salt Lake City, a son of Frank C. and Agnes Wilson Davis. Attended LDS High School, South High, graduated from East High School. He was in the first peace time draft and joined the U.S. Air Corps in 1941, training as pilot, then flight instructor in B-17s, attaining rank of Captain.
Employed by International Harvester Co., Salt Lake, retired, then by Bechtel Corp., California. He was an avid temple worker, active in high priests group, Ygnacio Valley Ward, California. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Beth; brother, Harold; grandson, Evan.
Survived by wife, Jean; sons, Gary (Jaynese); and Tom; daughters, Connie, and Heidi (Mike Cowley); and three grandchildren, all of California; two brothers, Lynn H. and Frank C., Jr.
Funeral services, Ygnacio Valley Ward, Monday, December 27, 3 p.m. Graveside services 3 p.m., Thursday, December 30, Salt Lake's Wasatch Lawn, 3401 South Highland Drive.
