Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Bonita Mae Hammer, 78, returned to her Heavenly Father December 22, 1993 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born May 1, 1915 in Standrod, Idaho to William and Rosetta Badger Jardine. Married Golden S. Hammer September 16, 1935 in Burley, Idaho; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death April 24, 1991. Also preceded in death by son, Louis Hammer.Bonita was president and work director in the Relief Society in the Southgate Ward. She was a volunteer pink lady at the Cottonwood Hospital for 22 years. "Mom's hands were never idle. She was always working on some craft or novelty."

Survived by her children, Mrs. Jodie (LaRee) Hoyt; Mrs. Lynn (Rozanne) Ellis; Mrs. David (Carol) Campbell; son, Steven and wife Karen; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; sister, Lillie Lythgoe, Heber City, Utah; brother, Lawrence Jardine, Burley, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 1993 11 a.m., Mtn. View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.). Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mtn. View Memorial Estates.
