Maud Anderson Woodruff Allee died peacefully at her home in Salt Lake City December 23, 1993.
She was born February 5, 1901 in Logan, Utah, the eldest daughter of William Q. and Mary Elizabeth Facer Anderson.She spent most of her life in Cash Valley and Salt Lake City, where she worked many years in retail sales and serving the public, that was a joy in her life. She married Melvin David Woodruff March 1920; later divorced. Married Paul Allee. They both are deceased.
She is survived by an only daughter, Margeen W. Schwantes; a sister, Pearl Anderson; a brother, Ray Anderson; and four grandchildren, Lara L. (Bob) Greer, Sue (Robert) Harper, Van Watts, and Preston Watts; and six great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. She will be interred in Smithfield, Utah. There will be a short graveside service at the cemetery at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 27.
