Hazel Jane Lee Batt Pledger, age 99, passed away December 24, 1993 at South Davis Community Hospital in Bountiful.
Born November 20, 1894 in Milo, Idaho, the daughter of Orrin S. and Martha Jane White Lee. Married William B. Batt October 8, 1914 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died February 4, 1959. Married Harry Pledger, March 1, 1973. He died January 13, 1985.She was an active member of the LDS Church. Served a two- year LDS Mission with her husband William to New England. Was a talented seamstress and loved teaching in both church and school.
Survived by her children: Ruth Tovey, Bountiful, Utah; William Lee Batt, Spokane, Wash.; Berniece Palmer, Tooele, Utah; 26 grandchildren; 104 great- grandchildren; 60 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Cleverly.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 1993, 7 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to services.
Interment will be Thursday, December 30, 1993, Ucon Cemetery, Ucon, Idaho.
