Blanche Hill Lange, 94, died Thursday, December 23, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born July 24, 1899 in Salt Lake City to Charles E. and Ellen World Hill. Married June 14, 1922 to Carl F. Lange in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 16, 1993.She served as a volunteer nurse during World War I. She was a very active, dedicated member of the LDS Church serving in many capacities.
Blanche was a lady of grace and quality. Her home and family were of primary importance to her. She was a talented homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her love of nature's beauty was evident by the effort she spent creating her beautiful flower gardens.
She made the world a better place by practicing the art of reaching out to others and by giving from the heart wherever she saw a need, particularly to the elderly. Always first to act, without being asked, and with no thought of any reward. Throughout her lifetime she demonstrated the true spirit of giving and caring.
She is survived by her three sons, Raymond (Barbara), Donald (Eleanor), and Keith (Alice); nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Victoria Tripp, Salt Lake City.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 28, 1993, 12 noon at the Hawthorne LDS Ward, 808 Roosevelt Avenue (1460 South). Friends may call Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the ward, one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
