Beloved father, uncle, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and husband, Alfred D. Leppard, age 81, died at home of acute emphysema on December 23, 1993 while surrounded by family.

Born December 3, 1912 to Lucille (Evans) and Edward Leppard of Salida, Colorado. Married Julia R. Folland of Salt Lake City, January 7, 1939, who preceded Al in death. Also preceded in death by only sister, Audrey, and parents. Later married Judy Felt Pelton of Salt Lake City on January 21, 1980.Associated with Salt Lake Hardware Company. Owner/operator of Morby's Store in Sunset, Utah and A.D. Leppard Sales. A veteran of the Army Aircorps as a flight instructor during World War II. Member of Alpine Country Club. Loved hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. Hole-in-one and 300 game were accomplished in these endeavors.

Survived by second wife, Judy Leppard; sons, Dr. William R. Leppard, Oxford, Michigan; Dick R. Leppard, Salt Lake City, Utah; and James E. Leppard, Eugene, Oregon; eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

At Al's request, private indoor services for family and close friends will be held Monday, December 27, 1993 at 1 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.

Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
