Irene M. Pera, 76, passed away December 24, 1993 in Salt Lake City.
Born December 7, 1917 in Gary, Indiana to Peter and Susan Warda. Married William A. Pera September 25, 1948 in San Francisco, California. She was a bookkeeper for Libby, McNeil and Libby in San Francisco. She served on the board of Koshaba & Co., oriental rug store. From 1953 to 1993 she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was active in First Presbyterian Church's antique show for many years. Since 1971 she was a member of Westminster College's Mothers Club. From 1974 to 1993 she was a member, and became an honorary member, of Westminster's Women's Board.Survived by husband, William A. Pera; daughter, Ilene P. Redington and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Robert and Michelle Banish; brother and sister-in-law, Stone A. and Irene M. Warda.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, December 28, at the First Presbyterian Church, 12 North 'C' Street, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
