Dan Zupan, 75, died December 23, 1993 at home of a heart attack.

Born July 23, 1918 in Midvale, Utah to George Zupan, Sr. and Filka Mary Butkovich Zupan. Married Charlotte Irene Price March 28, 1953 in Evanston, Wyoming; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 9, 1967.Retired from Utah Power and Light; a World War II Veteran of the Army Air Corp.; long time resident of Sandy and West Jordan. Dan was a mechanic, advisor, friend and Mr. Fix-it to everyone. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a high priest in the LDS Church, served in the bishopric in Sandy and West Jordan and held other church positions. Dad's sense of humor will always be remembered and cherished by his family, friends, and all that knew him.

Survived by his wife, Charlotte; seven children and their spouses, RaNae and Henry Bowen, West Jordan; Dennis and Betty Zupan, Orem; Jay and Carol Hale, Salt Lake; Ellen Mabey and John Hyde, Sandy; Diane and Scott Riggs, Riverton; Dan and Judy Zupan, West Valley; David and Emily Zupan, West Jordan; 33 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Kate Coleman; brothers, Steven, Joe and George Zupan.

Preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Nick and Jack Zupan; sister, Mary Simonich; grandson, Eddie Hale; great-grandson, Tyler Bowen; son-in-law, Kent Mabey.

Funeral services Wednesday, December 29, 1993, 11 a.m. in the Riverton 18th LDS Ward Chapel, 14400 South 2700 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
