James Gilbert Drennan, age 90, died December 23, 1993 in Olympia, Washington.
Born September 26, 1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James and Lillian Belle Smith Drennan. Married Martha Gladys Haslam October 15, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died November 12, 1988.He lived in Huntington Park and San Mateo, California before returning to Salt Lake City in 1969. Mechanical engineer for Owens Illinois Glass Co. Active member of the LDS Church. His life was characterized by service to others.
Survived by three sons, Boyd of Olympia, Wash.; Bryan of Sandy, Utah; Bob of Stockton, Calif.; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 1993, 12 noon in the Cottonwood 12th Ward, 1750 East Spring Lane. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates.
