Signey Jella Baker, age 74, died Saturday, December 25, 1993.
She was born November 13, 1919 in Aalesund, Norway to Sigurd G. and Ana Kavli Jelle. She married Thomas R. Baker, February 7, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona.Mrs. Baker was a former member of the Eastern Star. She was past president of Salt Lake County Fire Department Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband of LaVerkin; one daughter, one son, Carolyn Ann Hook, Moscow, Idaho; James Morgan Baker, Reno, Nevada; three grandchildren; one sister, Ingaborg Mary Perez, Millbrae, Calif. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Suzan Jean Nay.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 30, 1993 at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Methodist Church in Kearns, Utah. Arrangements under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Shriners' Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City are suggested.
