But the tranquility will end in less than a month when an estimated 100,000 out-of-town guests converge on the community for the 11-day McCall Winter Carnival. It runs from Jan. 20-30.Co-chairman Dan Wiberg says organizers want to boost attendance, head off growth-related problems before they detract from the event, and turn the negative effects of crowds into positive changes.
