With a playoff berth and at least one postseason home date already assured, the San Francisco 49ers have just about everything they want except a strong finish to the regular season.

That's what they will be trying for in tonight's regular season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles (7-8).San Francisco (10-5) is coming off a 10-7 Christmas-day loss to Houston, its second loss in three games. The 49ers lost 27-24 at Atlanta the week before they clinched their 10th NFC West crown in 13 seasons by winning at Detroit 55-17.

The Eagles, coming off a 37-26 victory over New Orleans, were eliminated from playoff contention when Minnesota beat Washington on Friday.
