Changes in rules will affect 4-H and Future Farmers of America exhibitors at junior livestock shows during the coming year, according to Utah State University Extension Agent Brad Sampson.
He also announced dates for the Millard County Junior Livestock show will be May 25-27.Rule changes will particularly affect the ages and dress code of exhibitors. "Exhibitors may be (from the) third grade through (the) senior year of school," Sampson said, noting the minimum age is eight.
Relative to the dress code, exhibitors will be required to wear a white shirt, fold down collar, long or short sleeves, with an emblem on the shoulder or pocket, or a white shirt, tie and 4-H jacket. The same dress code will apply to FFA exhibitors, except for wearing an official FFA jacket.
