Prince Charles wants Britain to let him do more than just be heir to the British crown.
A report in The Times of London Tuesday said Charles has asked to be Britain's ambassador for business so he can help promote British exports.Last month the 45-year-old prince suggested he was dissatisfied with his duties as prince, especially since the breakup of his marriage to Princess Diana.
"We are delighted that he has this ambition to play a role," Trade Minister Michael He-sel-tine was quoted as saying. "If he feels there is a role that he could play, then we would welcome that."
