Frank Leslie Higley, 92, passed away December 27, 1993, in Salt Lake City.
Born February 27, 1901, in Hooper, Utah to Franklin Spencer and Laura J. Byington Higley. Married Tolvhild Youngberg February 3, 1920.His notable legacy is that of love and devotion to his wife, family and friends. He and his sons built and operated the Valley View Riding Stables. He ranched in Pleasant Valley and Ioka, later returning to his residence in Salt Lake City. He enjoyed friendship, trading livestock and horses.
Frank is survived by: Sons and daughter, Kenneth, Pleasant Valley; Keith "Tom", Ioka; Lee, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Darlene (Erwin) Osguthorpe, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence and George, Hooper; sisters, Mabel Higley, Ogden; Mrs. Laura (Harold) Clayton, Murray; preceded in death by his wife, two sons, Glenn Leslie and Carl Lynn Higley, one daughter, LaNae Jackson; two brothers, Leland and Glen, one sister, Mrs. Cecil Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at 12 noon, at the Monument Park 10th Ward, 1930 So. 2100 East. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Hooper, Utah.
