Blaine Mann Gailey, 75, died December 27, 1993 in West Valley after many heart attacks and strokes.

Blaine was born Oct. 3, 1918, in Bountiful, Utah, to Archie Bruce and Ella Mann Gailey. He married Reta Myers on March 22, 1939 in Springlake, Utah. Together they had three daughters. Blaine was a Superintendant for Superior Roofing Co. He served in World War II in the Phillipines. His great love in life was golfing with his friends at the Meadowbrook Golf Club. He loved the times spent at the retreat he and Reta built at Woodland and snowmobiling with their friends, Jim and Sharon Peterson. Reta died on July 26, 1983. He married Bessie Garner, May 24, 1985. She has been a good companion and has taken wonderful care of Dad in these difficult years.He is survived by his three daughters, Carolyn (Don) Kamerath of Portland, Oregon; Linda (Bill) Mc Leod of Bennion, Utah; Colleen (Michael) Mann of Sunset, Utah; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren. His wife, Bessie of West Valley, and her children, Dick (Karen) Garner, Sheryl (Larry) Thompson, Don (Debbie) Garner, and Karee (George) Marinos; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Morris, Connie, Allan, and Floyd; two sisters, Ella Rae and Deone. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Bruce, Maxine, Verma, and Jay.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Wednesday 6 - 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens. Blaine would be honored to have all his friends meet for a celebration of his life with refreshments at Meadowbrook Golf Club, 4197 South 1300 West, Murray, following the services on Thursday.
