Virginia Snow Richards, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 85, passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born February 13, 1908 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Willard L. Snow and Hulda Holm Snow. Married March 10, 1938, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and eternity to Earl Hyrum Richards. Sang in the Tabernacle Choir, served as the stake MIA secretary of Highland Stake and taught Primary and Sunday School in the East Stratford Ward. Played the saxophone and traveled in an all-girl band.Virginia is survived by her husband, Earl Hyrum Richards, a Salt Lake businessman, one daughter, one son and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. (Carolyn R.) Burgener, Salt Lake City; John Earl Richards and wife, Sandra, Sandy, Utah; six grandchildren, John Ryan Richards, Kelly Gene Richards, Chantelle Richards, Rachelle Richards, Rob Howard Burgener, Douglas Stewart Burgener; two great-grandchildren, Marc Robert Burgener, and Alexa Christine Burgener, and one sister, Ethel Maurer, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1993, at 12 noon, at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends and relatives may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery following services.
