Geneva May Mott, 78, passed away December 27, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born Sept. 3, 1915, in Roosevelt, Utah to Jesse P. and Sophia Jane Harrison May. She married Clarence Ray Mott June 14, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah.Geneva was a former member of the Granger Ladies Lyons. She also raised laboratory rats for medical research. She also worked and retired from the Vivarium at the University of Utah.
Survivors include: One son, Elliott Ray and one daughter, Marilyn Mott, both Salt Lake City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; four brothers, Spencer, Donald, Leo, and Stanley; one sister, Josephine Smith.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at 1:30 p.m. at the Evans & Early Mortuary Chapel, 574 East 100 South. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and one hour prior to services Thursday at the mortuary. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
