Margaret Juanita Erwin, 70, of Electric City, Wash., died Saturday, December 25, 1993, in the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
She was born November 20, 1923, in Murray, Utah to Simon and Juanita (West) Johnson. She married John Erwin on September 11, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They moved to Electric City in 1972. She was greatly involved in music throughout her life. She taught piano lessons in the community for many years. She was known for her compassion and her great love for her family. We all have beautiful memories of her, and will miss her always.
Survivors include: Her husband of 47 years, John, at the home; two sons, Brad (Jane), Sandy, Utah; Jeffrey (Eve), Rigby, Idaho; one daughter, Jane (Chris) Talkington, Spokane; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Helen (Earl) Sanders, one brother, David (Ione) Johnson, both Centerville, Utah. Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at 11 a.m., in the LDS Church in Coulee Dam, Wash. Burial will follow in the Spring Canyon Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the church prior to the service. Strate Funeral Home, Grand Coulee, in charge of arrangements.
