Born April 25, 1906, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas W. and Eleanor Ricks Jones. Married Gerad T. Smith.Graduate of Salt Lake City School of Business. Former employee of Auerbach Co. as an accountant. Graduate, P.M.A. School of Business, Los Angeles, California. Member of the LDS Church, having served as ward organist, Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, temple attendant, and she was active in genealogy.
Survivors: Husband, four children, Karlene Smith, Salt Lake City; Lawrence Smith, North Carolina; Mrs. Lorraine S. Brown, Sandy, Utah; Verdi Smith, Sandy, Utah; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 1993, at 11 a.m., at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
