A Kamas man died from injuries suffered during an early morning accident Tuesday on U-32.

Alvarez Remedios, no age available, was a passenger in a vehicle traveling north at Peoa. He was partially ejected when the vehicle went out of control on ice and struck a light pole about 5:30 a.m., a Utah Highway Patrol dispatcher said.Remedios was transported to University Hospital and later died of his injuries, the dispatcher said.

The driver, 27-year-old Genaro Rivero Hernandez, and passenger Blanca Hernandez, no age available, suffered minor injuries.
