Donald J. Reid has been selected as the mortgage loan officer for the new Orem branch of America First Credit Union. He will oversee all mortgages in the Utah County area. H. Paul Matthews has been named vice president of lending and compliance for the new Orem Community Bank. He will direct the various business loan products available at the bank including SBA, FMHA, consumer and real estate loans. Gaylord Swim, president of Swim Investment Management, has been named the "Hospital Trustee of the Year" by the Utah Hospital Association. Val W. Kendell has been named vice president of The Walton Group, a full-service public relations and advertising agency in Provo. His responsibilities will include sales and account management. Kay Lindsay has been named to the Community Relations Council, formulated to assist the governing board of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Orem Community Hospital to represent community needs and assess health issues. She will cover the Provo-south group. Robert Parsons was also named to the Community Relations Council for Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Orem Community Hospital. He will be chairman of the Orem-north council.
