Elionor Annemarie Gangien Liebelt, 73, died December 29, 1993 in Provo, Utah, after a valiant fight against complications of diabetes.

She was born October 9, 1920 in Brand Zwickau, Germany, to Kurt Walter and Ella Franziska Tierlich Gangien. She married Arno Max Liebelt March 18, 1950 in Berlin, Germany. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church; she served in the Berlin, East Germany Mission from 1947 to 1950. She served in numerous callings including Relief Society president and as a Provo Temple worker.Survived by three daughters: Mrs. John (Mary) Gray, Lehi; Mrs. John (Hedy) McClellan, Ogden; Nancy Liebelt, American Fork; 10 grandchildren; two stepsons; Eric Liebelt and Arno Liebelt, both of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be Monday, 2 p.m. in the American Fork 1st Ward, 381 South 300 East. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
