Robert Allan Perry, Jr., born June 16, 1925, passed away at his home of a heart attack on December 29, 1993.
Born in Murray, Utah to R. Allan and Bertha E. Perry. Married in 1948 to June Betteridge in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a banker for 45 years. He also served in the National Guard for 45 years and was a General in the State Guard. Active in civic and church organization and he held church callings throughout his life. Bob was a good friend and neighbor. His forte in life was being prepared.
Survived by wife, June; daughters, Kathy and Susan, both of Salt Lake; JoAnn Madsen, husband Carlos F. and grandchildren, Ryan, Jill, Todd, and Jeff, all of Sandy; sisters, Barbara Sorensen, and Pat Merrill, husband Dixon, of Salt Lake. Preceded in death by parent.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 1993, 11 a.m., at the Greenfield Chapel, 6600 South Greenfield Way (1900 East). A viewing will be held Thursday, December 30, 1993 at the Greenfield Chapel from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services.
Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
