Robert Allan Perry Jr., 68, a former brigadier general in the Utah State Guard, died of a heart attack at his home Dec. 29, 1993.
Mr. Perry was a career banker and also served 45 years in the National Guard. He was the commander of Camp Williams when he retired from the National Guard in 1977 at the rank of lieutenant colonel. In October 1984, he was promoted to brigadier general in the Utah State Guard and assumed command of that organization, which is maintained to staff local armories in the event the National Guard is mobilized.Friends may call at the Greenfield Chapel, 6600 S. Greenfield Way (1900 East), Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m. funeral Friday, also at the Greenfield Chapel. Burial will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
