Devoted husband and father, Steven George Williams, age 47, died December 28, 1993 in Salt Lake City, of complications following a stroke. His life was centered around his wife, sons and family. Always showed great concern and love for his parents.

Born June 29, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of George Echo and Velma Ruffell Williams. Married Patricia Cluff, June 8, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Devoted, active member of LDS Church. Served a mission to the Northern Indian Mission. Attended South High School and graduated from the University of Utah. Loved nature and all of God's creations. Worked for Canon Construction for 23 years before starting his own business. Co-owner of New Star General Contractors. Former member of Carpenters Local #184. Currently serving as a member of the board of trustees for Utah Carpenters and Cement Masons Trust Fund. He was a true friend and was loved by all who knew him.Survived by wife, Pat; sons, Judd and Tyler, all of Sandy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George (Judd) Williams, Salt Lake City; brothers, David and wife, Susan, Corvallis, Oregon; Kenneth and wife, LuAnn, Holladay; Richard and wife, Tamra, Sandy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynn and Anna Lee Mackay, Taylorsville; Larry and Mary Emma Mackay, West Jordan; Millard K Cluff II, La Costa, California; and numerous nephews and nieces, whom he loved to tease.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at the Canyon View Ward, 9119 South 1300 East. Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Sunset Gardens of the Valley.
