Kaye Seare Imlay, 71, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993 at her home.

Born Sept. 1, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Lester and Rachel McKean Seare. She married James E. Imlay, Dec. 23, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School. She had lived in Clearfield the past 46 years. She was a member of the Clearfield 5th LDS Ward and worked with the youth for many years. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Salt Lake City, worked in ladies' apparel and also for Davis County Assessors Office for 25 yrs.Surviving are her husband of Clearfield; two sons and one daughter, James A. and wife, Judi Imlay, South Ogden, Utah; Mark S. and wife, Nancy Imlay, Hooper, Utah; Sharon and husband, Roger D. Cragun, Clinton, Utah; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Jane Benson, and Dean and husband, Franklin N. Davis, all of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John M. Seare.

Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 3, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 5th Ward Chapel, 326 E. Center St., Clearfield. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State, and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Assoc. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
