Through the graciousness of the Lord, Ada has fulfilled her mission here on the earth. And for her love for the Savior and through diligence and love for His gospel, she had the privilege and opportunity to fulfill her commitment of her 83 years of mortal life and has returned to her Creator December 27, 1993 to continue her services through the eternities.
Born August 19, 1910 in Salt Lake City, to Thomas and Ada Ness Hepworth. Married T. Martin Bernards August 19, 1930 in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized September 7, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Survived by her caring and devoted husband of 63 years, Martin; their four daughters, Mrs. Marilyn (Eugene) Urry, Sr.; Mrs. Ginger (Wayne) Heugly, Clayton, Calif.; Mrs. Rebecca (Gerald) Evans; and Mrs. Nancy (Lary) Fallows, Pocatello, Idaho; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marjory Dean, Esther Bowers, and Ellen Pulley; two brothers, Kenneth and Milton Hepworth; and many nieces and nephews.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray and Golden Lee; and one sister, Gladys Larsen.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 1994, at 11 a.m., in the Garden Heights South Ward, 2220 Fisher Lane (2935 So.). Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray, and on Monday, one hour prior to services at the ward.
Interment, Valley View Memorial Cemetery.
