Country star Merle Haggard raised more than $3 million by selling 600 of his songs, enough to rescue him from bankruptcy. Among the songs purchased Tuesday by Sony-Tree Publishing were: "If We Make It Through December," "I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink," "I'm Always on a Mountain When I Fall" and "Are the Good Times Really Over." Haggard filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last December. "We're more than clear," he said Wednesday.
