Mercer Julian Greenwood, 83, died December 23, 1994 in American Fork, Utah.

Born July 8, 1911 in American Fork to William J. and Sophia Johnston Greenwood. Married May Tufts in Basalt, Idaho November 10, 1932; she died September 28, 1989. He retired from Geneva Steel after 30 years of service.Enjoyed camping and family gatherings. Loved music and especially enjoyed playing the piano and organ.

Survived by daughter and son, Fae H. Huggard (Garth) of American Fork; J. Reid Greenwood (Nancy) of Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, parents and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 27, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, where friends may call Monday, 7 to 8 p.m. and 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial in American Fork Cemetery
