Services for Evelyn Heywood Bushman will be held Wednesday, December 28 at 10 a.m. in the Northridge 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 150 East 1750 North, Orem.

Mrs. Bushman died Saturday, December 24, 1994 at her home in Orem.Evelyn was born September 2, 1938, in Holbrook, Arizona to Yates and Florence Ramsay Heywood. She married Harold Earl Bushman Jr. in the Arizona LDS Temple on June 5, 1964. She spent her childhood in Northern Arizona. She graduated from BYU, and taught school in Utah, Arizona and Nevada.

Following her marriage, she lived in Arizona, California and Utah where she was very active in the LDS Church. She served as ward and stake Relief Society president, and taught in both Relief Society and Young Women. She will be remembered for her unselfish service to her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, H. Earl; three children, Alyse and Douglas Shattuck, Becky and Michael Gibson, Bret E. and Shauna Bushman; five grandchildren; her father; two brothers and four sisters: Jared Heywood, Kumen Heywood, Janet Rogers, Shirley Johnson, Velma Stratton, Elizabeth Middlebrook.

She was preceded in death by her mother and granddaughter.

Friends and family may call at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 600 East 800 North, Orem, Tuesday, December 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the ward chapel prior to the services. Following the funeral, interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
