Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Lucille (Connie) Shaw Manning, age 86, passed away Sunday, December 25, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah.

Born November 5, 1908 in Paradise, Utah, one of 11 children born to William Henry and Elizabeth Jane Humphreys Shaw. Married Clarence Hoxer Manning, October 29, 1930 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died August 23, 1970. Active member of the Kimball Mill Ward, LDS Church. She loved being a homemaker and took great pride in her home and family.Survived by two daughters, Marsha (Arlin C.) Swain, Bountiful; and Carolyn (John W.) Spear, Colorado Springs; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Leona Foss. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, a son, Wayne, and a granddaughter, Suzanne.

Connie was truly a Christ-like person. She always gave unselfishly of her time and talents, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Kimball Mill Ward, 650 South 200 East, Bountiful. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park, Ogden, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
