Command Sgt. Major Ret. Bryant Ellison Stauffer, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 70, passed away December 26, 1994, in Salt Lake City.

Born February 2, 1924, in Ammon, Idaho to Ivory and Bertha Bailey Stauffer. Married Mary "Boots" Vicchrilli August 11, 1946. Served 28 years in the Armed Forces, serving his country at home and abroad. His love for the great outdoors included the annual fishing opener. "Goodbye, old friends".Survivors: Wife, six children, Mary (Neal) Eatchel, Julie (Ronald) Millard, Richard "Smokey" (Kris), Stephen (Susan), Deborah Jane, "our special angel", and Lorie (Pat) Henderson; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 11 a.m., Murray 10th Ward, 5750 Nena Way (100 West). Friends may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Murray, and at the church 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
