Three people were injured, one critically, in an accident at U.S. 89 and Shepard Lane in Farmington Wednesday morning. A 67-year-old woman, a passenger in one of the two cars involved, was taken to LDS Hospital by air ambulance.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers investigating the 10 a.m. accident have not released the names of the victims.According to UHP Lt. Neal Porter, a northbound car was struck broadside as it turned left onto Shepard Lane by a southbound vehicle that apparently entered the intersection on a yellow light.
