Beloved sister and aunt, Lillian Rachael Russell Ledingham, 87, passed away Dec. 26, 1994, of natural causes.

Born February 14, 1907, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas and Elizabeth Pringle Russell. Married Morris Albert Ledingham, beloved husband, who died in 1985. She was a retired secretary for Rio Grande Railroad after 26 years. Lived and worked in San Francisco for seven years. As a young woman danced solo on the Capitol Theatre stage, which was a crowning moment in her life. Graduate of West High School and attended business college. She was an accomplished classical pianist, an avid bowler in the Capitol League and a sports enthusiast. She was very intelligent and had a witty sense of humor. She enjoyed her cabin in Oakley, horses and the great outdoors. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by two nephews, Ronald Clyde Russell; Alfred Russell Bennion; three Bennion nieces, Sharon Jean Garrison; Charlene Louise Brunstad; Janet Elizabeth Metcalf; 35 grand-nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Alfred H. Bennion, who provided loving care and took care of all her medical personal and financial needs for the last nine years. Preceded in death by parents; four brothers, Thomas, Clyde, Glen and Cecil Russell; two nephews, and her only sister and best friend, Jean Margaret Russell Bennion, who died in 1980, whom she dearly missed and who devoted many hours of loving care and support to Lillian.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 1994, 2 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment: Holladay Memorial Park.
