Susan Lucille McGlone Pourier Flowers, age 44, returned to her Heavenly Father on December 27, 1994 due to metastatic melanoma.
Born December 27, 1950 in Salt Lake City, to Paul C. and Helen Hancock McGlone. Married Dean D. Pourier in June 1972. Later married Charles W. Flowers in October 1978. Susan worked as an R.N. and excellent in teaching and practicing in the area of critical care and worked at Davis North Hospital in Layton and St. Benedict's in Ogden. Member LDS Church, was very active in temple work and Young Women's activities. The family would like to express their thanks to the many friends and family who helped care for Susan during her illness.Survived by son, Paul Pourier, Layton; Charles Flowers, San Diego; daughter, Helen Flowers, San Diego; mother, Helen Gibbons, Ogden; sisters, Jean Armour, Murray; and Sally Hale, Los Angeles; nephew, Andrew Armour; grandmother, Lucille Root, Salt Lake City; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service, Friday, Dec. 30, 1994 at 2 p.m. at the Murray 28th Ward, 5555 So. 700 West. Friends may call Thurs., 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State and Fri. 1-1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
