Eudora E. Nielson Bowers, age 88, passed away of natural causes, on December 27, 1994, at Nephi, Utah.

She was born on August 8, 1906, at Ephraim, Utah, to Joseph and Marie Nielson. She received all her schooling in Ephraim.Eudora married Maylon S. Bowers on March 8, 1928. Later sealed in the LDS Temple on March 8, 1935. She worked as a telephone operator in Ephraim and Salt Lake City. She worked for the Juab County School Lunch Program for ten years before retiring.

She was an active member of the LDS Church, and served as a Sunday School, Primary and Mutual teacher. She also served as Relief Society work director for several years. Eudora also enjoyed civic activities. She served for three years as the Nephi Senior Citizens Director, and secretary for two years. She also loved crocheting, quilting, and reading.

Eudora was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Always loving and willing to go the extra mile for family and friends. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband, Maylon; son, Kenneth (Frankie), Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Betty (Ramon), Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Grace Olsen, Ogden; Helen Shipley, Holladay; six grandchildren and 13 great-granchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 30, 1994 in the Nephi LDS 5th Ward, 345 East 500 No. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 No., and at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
