Early morning temperatures were around 30 and had risen to 33 by midmorning. The snow was to taper off by afternoon with accumulations of less than an inch. The evening forecast is for partly cloudy skies with areas of fog. Friday's Wasatch Front forecast calls for fair skies with areas of morning fog. The New Year's weekend outlook is for partly cloudy skies with areas of night and morning fog. Tonight's low is expected to be in the 20s, with a high of 40 Friday.
