Aerial view of the Bingham copper mine also shows fog that covered much of Utah County as well as other areas of the Wasatch Front early Thursday. The fog began dissipating after sunrise after snow developed over the area. Early morning visibilities were in the one- to two-mile range and improved as the day wore on. Early morning temperatures were around 30 and had risen to 33 by midmorning. The snow was to taper off by afternoon with accumulations of less than an inch. The evening forecast is for partly cloudy skies with areas of fog. Friday's Wasatch Front forecast calls for fair skies with areas of morning fog. The New Year's weekend outlook is for partly cloudy skies with areas of night and morning fog. Tonight's low is expected to be in the 20s, with a high of 40 Friday.
