George Henry Austin, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully at his home of congestive heart failure, on December 28, 1994.

Born July 18, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George H. and Nora Evva Hardy Austin. Married Victoria Zmerzlikar in Elko, Nevada on September 3, 1950. A retired machinist from Eimco, a Veteran of World War II, he was also a member of the Methodist Church. George was a member of Canyon Lodge # 13 F & AM, Shriner of ElKalah Temple, Member of A & A S Rite 32 Degree and Martha Chapter #7, Midvale Order of Eastern Star. He was raised in Bingham Canyon and enjoyed hunting and fishing.Survivors: wife, Victoria, Midvale; daughters and son, Mrs. Scott (Launa) Rhodes, Sandy; Mrs. Dale (Mary) Carstensen, Mrs. Albert (Nora) Avila, George A. (Kelly) Austin, all West Jordan; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Arthur A. Austin, Midvale.

Public Masonic Funeral Services will be conducted by Canyon Lodge # 13 F & A M on Saturday, December 31, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel 8090 So. State where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Intermountain Unit Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital.
