Wrecked vehicles litter the lanes of I-5 in Gorman, Calif., Wednesday after at least 10 semitrailer trucks and 20 cars piled up in dense fog in the Tejon Pass. Two motorists were killed and 27 injured. Some of the big rigs burned and others were torn open in the collisions. One cab was compressed back to its trailer. The southbound interstate, a major route from San Francisco to Los Angeles, was closed for about eight hours.
