I was a bit surprised after this past November's election to find out that I was mad when I went to the polls. I was even more astonished to find out that I voted with the express purpose of ousting Democrats from Congress. Being the white, middle-class male that I am, obviously unable to perform on my own without "groupthink," I'd like to thank political reporters everywhere for setting me straight.
For some strange reason, I thought I'd gone to the polls to vote for candidates I felt would best represent my family's interests, as well as the interests of the majority of Utahns. While I'm still struggling to be mad (even toward the Democrats in Congress), it is nice to know that there are so many professional and amateur commentators willing to expend their valuable time and resources to tell me not only how I voted, but why.Milton A.
