An early morning fire consumed a Goshen home Friday.
Utah County sheriff's dispatchers said neighbors contacted them at approximately 3:15 a.m. after they saw flames coming from a home at 138 S. Center.Firefighters from the Goshen and Genola volunteer fire departments responded to the scene minutes after and found the home engulfed in flames.
Crews attempted to fight the fire but were unable to stop it from destroying most of the home. They were able to stop it from spreading to nearby homes, dispatchers said.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were injured.

The Utah County Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze, and damage is estimated at almost $100,000.
