Stevenson McDonald, 90, died December 27, 1994 at the Red Cliff's Regional Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born August 15, 1904 in Holladay, Utah, the ninth child of Francis McDonald and Emily Rozella Stevenson.He married Elizabeth "Libbie" Eldredge Andrus, June 8, 1927. She preceded him in death March 22, 1948. Steve married Sylvia Robinson, June 15, 1949.

Stevenson's working life was spent with his brother Joseph as a builder of quality homes in Salt Lake City. Shortly after retiring in 1987, he and his wife moved to St. George. He was a High Priest in the St. George 7th Ward and with his wife, spent many hours performing work in the St. George Temple. He and his wife were called to a labor mission in Glasgow, Scotland where he supervised the construction of the first LDS Chapel in Scotland. He was an active member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; children, Vesta Ward, Orange, California; Elizabeth Lambourne, Fullerton, California; Emily Burningham, Kaysville, Utah; Louise Latham, Logan, Utah; Ross McDonald, Sandy, Utah; Steve McDonald, St. George, Utah; Priscilla Cowans, Portland, Oregon; Howard McDonald, Salt Lake City, Utah; Irene Marlowe, Rexburg, Idaho; and Edward McDonald, Holladay, Utah; and a brother, Joseph S. McDonald, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m. in the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call 12:30-1:30 prior to services. Additional services will be held held in Salt Lake City at the Holladay 27 LDS ward chapel, 5500 South Holladay Blvd., Tuesday, January 3, at 11 a.m. where friends may call from 10-11 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Holladay Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
