It's been a little slice of heaven for New York Gov. Mario Cuomo.
"For all the rejection, for all the failures, it's heaven because you're doing what you think is right," he said of his 20 years in politics. In his final news conference after three terms as governor, Cuomo said Friday that he will write a book - but he wouldn't say what it will be about - and give speeches next year. He has talks already lined up in London, Zurich and Buenos Aires.
Republican George Pataki, who defeated Cuomo in November, takes office in Albany on Sunday, and Cuomo will be out of a job. While he's gotten numerous offers, he hasn't accepted anything yet, he said.
